The Juvenile Justice Resource Hub's purpose is to provide comprehensive, authoritative information about the juvenile justice field, along with a curated set of resources and information about opportunities for reform. It is a joint project of the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange and Kennesaw State University's School of Conflict Management, Peacebuilding and Development, with prior contributions from the National Juvenile Justice Network.
Our Criteria for Including Material
Research: In general, we give preference to research that is national or large in scope and we give priority to meta-analyses over individual studies.
Resources: We choose documents, toolkits, and other materials based on their comprehensiveness, the authority of the source, their usefulness for practitioners, and their likely influence on the field. Exceptions will be made in certain situations, for example when the material is one-of-a-kind, or when it offers insight from people whose voices might otherwise be discounted or go unheard.
Requests to Include Specific Material: We are happy to entertain suggestions for material to add to the site. However, we reserve the right to refuse. We believe the site will be most valuable if it does not attempt to be exhaustive but is instead thoughtfully filtered for a broad range of users.
Email our editors to submit your suggestions with the subject line "JJIE Hub Suggestion." Please include relevant reference links.
